Where to start
Is one dropper or two the better start?
One dropper is the cautious start. It leaves room to see how you feel before using more.
Guarana and green tea add caffeine, and the label prints no amount, so a small start makes sense (Caffeine: how much is too much? per FDA). Doubling the dose doubles whatever is in it.
- Take one dropper for the first week and note any jitters, poor sleep or stomach upset.
- Move to two only if you are comfortable, and tell your doctor.
- Never go past two. Do not add droppers to make up a missed day.
More is not better
Do more droppers mean a bigger effect?
Nothing shows that. No trial has tested Payarmin at either amount.
Even two droppers give about 1.4 mcg of chromium, if a dropper holds 1 mL, while trials used 200 to 1,000 mcg a day (Chromium per NIH ODS). Chromium, gymnema and ginseng may add to diabetes medicines (Vitamins & Supplements per ADA), so ask first. Keep taking prescribed medicine as directed.
