Can Payarmin and metformin together cause low blood sugar?
It is possible but unproven. The ADA warns that some supplements can cause lows when combined with diabetes medicines (Vitamins & Supplements per ADA).
NIDDK ties lows mainly to insulin and sulfonylureas, not metformin (Low Blood Glucose per NIDDK).
