Xylitol in Payarmin: what the label shows

Quick answer

Xylitol in Payarmin is a sweetener on the Other Ingredients line, fifth of nine, after stevia extract. The label prints no amount. Xylitol is a sugar alcohol, not drinking alcohol, and it is dangerous to dogs. For people, FDA says it does not trigger the same insulin release.

Placement

Where is xylitol in Payarmin?

Xylitol is the fifth of the nine other ingredients: glycerin, water, organic lemon extract, stevia extract 97% (Reb A), xylitol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, citric acid and natural flavors.

The label gives no amount for any of them, and we will not guess a figure.

No amount, no guess

The Supplement Facts panel lists only chromium and the 200 mg blend. The label does not say how many milligrams of xylitol a dropper holds.

Sweet taste

What else makes the drops taste sweet?

Stevia extract does, and so does glycerin, a sweet, syrupy base. Natural flavors and organic lemon extract add taste too.

FDA has not questioned GRAS notices for high-purity stevia such as Reb A (Aspartame and Other Sweeteners per FDA). The blend also has a licorice compound and gymnema, which dulls sweet taste (Gymnema monograph per Drugs.com).

Pets

Why does xylitol in Payarmin matter if you have a dog?

Xylitol can cause a rapid, dangerous drop in a dog's blood sugar within 10 to 60 minutes. Signs include vomiting, weakness, collapse and seizures (Paws Off Xylitol per FDA).

If a dog may have swallowed any, contact a vet or animal poison control right away. The side effects page repeats the warning.

Store it out of reach

Next step

How can you find out how much xylitol is in Payarmin?

Ask the seller. Try the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 or [email protected]. The website inbox cannot see orders.

Ask for the xylitol amount per dropper in writing, along with the volume of one dropper. The label prints neither.

  • Keep taking prescribed medicine as directed. A sweetener question never changes that.
  • Read the other ingredients page for each preservative.

FAQ

Questions people raise about xylitol in payarmin?

One to start with: Is the xylitol in Payarmin the same as drinking alcohol? Plus 2 more answered below.

Each answer gives the plain reply first, then the reasoning and a citation where available.

Is the xylitol in Payarmin the same as drinking alcohol?

No. Xylitol is a sugar alcohol, a sweetener with a confusing name. It is not ethanol. The label lists no beverage alcohol among its other ingredients.

Why use xylitol and stevia together?

The label does not say. Both are sweeteners, and the seller has not explained the choice. We will not guess a reason or an amount.

Can I buy Payarmin without xylitol?

We know of no version without it. The label for the 30 mL bottle lists xylitol, and we found no other formula on the sales page (Payarmin sales page).
