Payarmin 2 Percent Daily Value: Reading the % Column
Payarmin 2 percent daily value belongs to the chromium line alone. The Daily Value for chromium is 35 mcg, and one 1 ml serving has 0.7 mcg, which is 2%. The 200 mg blend shows a dagger instead, because its Daily Value is not established.

The math
Where does the 2 percent Daily Value on Payarmin come from?
It comes from one division: 0.7 mcg of chromium divided by the 35 mcg Daily Value gives 0.02, or 2% (Chromium per NIH ODS). Only the chromium line has a percent.
The label notes that percent Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet. That note covers every percent on the panel.
| Line | Per 1 ml | % Daily Value |
|---|---|---|
| Chromium (as chromium picolinate) | 0.7 mcg | 2% |
| Proprietary Blend | 200 mg | Daily Value not established |
What it is not
Does a 2 percent Daily Value mean Payarmin supplies 2 percent of what you need?
Only for chromium, and only against a general reference number. The Daily Value is a label yardstick, not a personal dose or a target for blood sugar.
If a dropper holds 1 mL, which the label never says, two droppers a day would give 1.4 mcg, or 4%. That is a scenario, not a label fact.
A percent shows size, not benefit. Trials of chromium for glucose used 200 to 1,000 mcg a day, with mixed results (Chromium per NIH ODS). Keep taking prescribed medicine as directed.
The dagger
Why does the 200 mg blend show no percent?
The label gives the blend no percent. It marks the line with a dagger and the words “Daily Value not established.”
That also means a reader has no yardstick for the 200 mg. See our supplement facts page for the full panel.

FAQ
Questions people raise about 2% daily value?
One to start with: How do I work out a percent Daily Value myself? Plus 2 more answered below.
Each answer gives the plain reply first, then the reasoning and a citation where available.
How do I work out a percent Daily Value myself?
Divide the amount per serving by the Daily Value and multiply by 100. For Payarmin, 0.7 divided by 35 is 0.02, so 2%.
Does the 2 percent on Payarmin change if I use two droppers?
The printed 2% is for one 1 ml serving. Using two droppers could double it to 4% if a dropper holds 1 mL, but the label never says so.
What does the dagger next to the blend mean on the Payarmin panel?
It points to the note “Daily Value not established.” No percent can be shown because no reference number exists for that blend.
